The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in / making payment at the hotel.Please note that hotel may contact the cardholder for verification purposes.
The City Council of Penang charges a Local Council Tax of MYR 2 per room per night payable directly to the hotel upon check-in. Please note that this is not included in the room rate.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Great location that's convenient to the heritage trial and Penang Rd. Breakfast nyonya kueh was superb. Staff was helpful and solved the heater and WiFi prob.

One of the standout aspects was the friendly and helpful staff. The location is another huge perk of this hotel. It’s centrally located, making it easy to walk to many of Penang’s famous attractions, local eateries, and historical sites. If you’re here to explore, the hotel’s location couldn’t be better—everything is right at your doorstep, so you save time and transportation costs plus it also have free on site parking (limited)

The staff are great. I lost count of the number of issues I had, but they tried their best to help me and make me feel welcomed / comfortable. Special shoutout to Michael for going above and beyond! The hotel is very close to lots of major sites, and the room was spacious.
